Forbes released an article about the Cryptocurrency billionaires worldwide earlier this month. This featured a host of founders and CEOs of many of the leading companies in Blockchain technology. We have decided to take a look at six of the richest people from Bitcoin.
He is the founder and CEO of “Coinbase”. Currently 35 years old, Armstrong founded the company back in 2012. The customer base has doubled and the trade volume on “Coinbase” increased by eight times in 2017 as compared to the previous year. He currently has a Crypto fortune of around $900 million – $1 billion.
He is the chairman of the New York Republican Party’s Finance Committee. The 54 year-old American made investments in the Cryptocurrency “XRP” widely known as “Ripple” and in February 2018 Forbes reported that he has a crypto fortune of around $900 million – $1 billion.
Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss are the founders of a Digital currency exchanger called “Gemini”. In 2004, the Winklevoss brothers sued Mark Zuckerberg by claiming that he had stolen their ”ConnectU” idea to create the popular social media website Facebook. They have been involved with “Bitcoin” from as early as 2013 and in 2017 it was reported that they had become the first Bitcoin billionaires. They currently have a crypto fortune of around $1 billion.

He is the founder and CEO of one of the largest cryptocurrencies in existence, “Binance”. Founded in 2017 “Binance” currently supports over 120 coins, 100 plus wallets and 240 trading pairs. Regardless of “Binance” being a relatively new cryptocurrency it already has over 6 million users. Aged 41, he has a crypto fortune of around $1.1 billion – $2 billion.
At 53 years of age, Joseph Lubin is the co-founder of “Ethereum”, which is the third largest Blockchain by value. A Canadian entrepreneur, Lubin is also the founder of “ConsenSys” a Brooklyn based software production company. He currently possesses a crypto fortune of around $1 billion – $5 billion.
As estimated by Forbes he possesses a staggering crypto net worth of around $7.5 billion – $8 billion, which establishes him as the richest person in cryptocurrency. He is the co-founder of cryptocurrency giants “Ripple”. In 1996 he co-founded the online mortgage lender “E-loan”. In 2006 he co-founded “Prosper Marketplace”, the first peer to peer lending marketplace in the United States.
